Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Oh noes…a bullying puppy!

Friday greetin’s, GN!

I see that our vaunted media -- and the ADL -- got taken-in by a 4chan troll who claimed that Nikolas Cruz was affiliated with a FL white nationalist group.

Damn, they’re stupid. (Guess they thought Cruz was another “white Hispanic”.)

I wonder if this Cruz was also involved in the Kennedy assassination?

Happy Puppeh-Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

The online edition of the OC Register published an AP story that fell for that 4chan hoax. I skimmed the comments and the posts by the TrueBelievers® were enough to make your head explode. People who posted excerpts from Reddit by 4chan proving it was a hoax were shouted down. Unbelievable!

Hai, Paddy!

Some folks sure want to believe.

It’d be funnier if the stakes weren’t so high.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good story, especially a story that bolsters your own views? Fake, but accurate and all that.

NBC News is reporting “FBI got tip on Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz in January, but didn’t ‘follow protocols’”.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/fbi-got-tip-parkland-shooter-nikolas-cruz-january-didn-t-n848681

In a statement, the FBI said “a person close to” Cruz called the agency’s public tip line on Jan. 5 and left information on Cruz’s “gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting.”

The tip should have been “assessed as a potential threat to life” and forwarded to the bureau’s Miami field office for investigation. “We have determined that these protocols were not followed,” the agency said.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said in that statement that the bureau is trying to figure out how the mistake occurred, particularly because the bureau asks the public to “be vigilant” against threats and share them with authorities.

Guess they were too busy trying to overthrow the Trump administration.

You think? Yeah, I kind of do, too. But of course we need more gun control and besides, questioning the FBI is unpatriotic.

If you don’t have gun control, how can you hope to have serf control?

I see that some Russians have been charged with election meddling. I wonder if what they were doing looks something like this?

No, nothing like that! What the Russians were doing was obviously raaacist!!! and anti-American!!!, while what the misunderstood Black Panthers (peace be upon them, but not on y’all honkies) were doing was just insuring the right to vote for historically disenfranchised people of a certain pigmentation.

Game over, man. Game over.

“The troubled teen authorities say killed 17 people at a Florida high school excelled in an air-rifle marksmanship program supported by a grant from the National Rifle Association Foundation, part of a multimillion-dollar effort by the gun group to support youth shooting clubs.”
