I never understood the Left’s fascination with “proportional response”. To me that’s a sure way to continue the conflict. If you want to save lives, end the conflict swiftly and decisively.
I concur that “proportional response” is BS; if someone’s attacking you, do whatever needs to be done to make them stop.
One of my favorite GoodWifeK stories concerns when she was a little girl and a little boy was picking on her. It was incumbent upon her to sort-out the situation…so she clocked him with a piece of 2″x4″.
