I’ll be surprised — make that stunned — if there isn’t some violence before the week is over.
The way things are going, the violence might start inside the convention. Personally, I’d like to see a majority of the delegations walk out over the stunt they pulled yesterday.
Was never into Popeye cartoons as a kid. But as I got a bit older, I developed an appreciation for the quality of animation which went into the old theatrical shorts.
Doubt we’ll see many delegations walk out; too many folks who hunger for power vs. those willing to stand on principle and risk pissing-off the GOPe (or what might remain of it after this election cycle).
I’m hoping that Bernie supporters -- and others -- seriously disrupt next week’s DNC convention.
A 37 year-old Moroccan immigrant named Mohammed stabbed a mother and her three daughters, ages 14, 12, and 8, at a French resort yesterday because they were “scantily dressed” (the girls were wearing shorts). Prosecutors caution against speculating on the motives of the attacker.
Do “authorities” who do that sort of shit not understand how much they add to the tensions already caused by the actions of Mohammedans and the gummint’s mollycoddling of same?
Jeebus…prosecutors like that ought to be tarred and feathered. At a minimum.
