I had to take our cat in for surgery this morning. He has an open tumor/mass/something that won’t heal. He was decidedly not happy with me this morning when I didn’t feed him, then put him in the cat carrier. He complained loudly all the way to the vet’s office. I’m sure he won’t be happy with me when I pick him up this evening, either.
Thanks, everyone. Gandalf (the Grey) is acting like he ate a bowl of Weird-e-o’s, but is otherwise fine. The incision is much longer than I thought it would be, but the vet said everything went well and he should be feeling better than ever in a week. 3-4 days before he gets his drain removed, and about two weeks before the staples are removed.
