Just read (and confirmed) that Craigslist has preemptively shut down their “Personals” sections in the U.S. due to the passage (but not signing) of HR 1865 “FOSTA” yesterday.
From their website:
US Congress just passed HR 1865, “FOSTA”, seeking to subject websites to criminal and civil liability when third parties (users) misuse online personals unlawfully.
Any tool or service can be misused. We can’t take such risk without jeopardizing all our other services, so we are regretfully taking craigslist personals offline. Hopefully we can bring them back some day.
To the millions of spouses, partners, and couples who met through craigslist, we wish you every happiness!
While CL’s response at this juncture is likely calculated to provoke a reaction from their users, if they’re even halfway accurate in their description of what this law does, I hope Trump doesn’t sign it.
Need to do more research, as I’m completely ignorant of this legislation…but I sure don’t want to see anything like this enacted.

For example, Hart High School students would wear their Hart High School spirit wear. We want to show the community that we are uniting as one group for one common cause.

I took Gandalf to the vet this morning, to get his drains removed. Everything is looking good. He gets his staples out on the third, so he still gets to wear the cone of shame.
Sven -- from your linked video -- those kids are so media savvy. Yeah, right. They’re being led by the nose by outside organizations who truly do have blood on their hands.
Huh. So if Jeff Goldstein was a cat, he’d look like that.

Media savvy kids?!?! I couldn’t watch more than 1:09 of that video. Since the video claims that 17 students were killed, I guess their “media savvy” includes outright falsehoods…just like the grown-up media.
And yet when the little snowflakes find that their rights are being infringed -- by forcing them to where ID tags and only allowing clear backpacks -- they think it’s unfair. They didn’t do anything wrong -- why should they have to suffer?
