Teh Squeaky Wheel
Good morning, Wheelizens.
My deepest gratitude to those in our armed services who gave their lives for this country.
Good morning, Gerbil Nation.
Good morning, Fatwa.
Here’s wishing you all a reflective Memorial Day.
Good morning, GN. “Reflective” is a good word for today, Paddy.
This is an amazing half hour on CSPAN: World War I Soldiers and Art in the Trenches American History TV visited the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum to learn about stone carvings left behind in bunkers and trenches by World War I soldiers and only recently rediscovered. Our guide was Dr. Jeff Gusky, whose photographs of the carvings are featured in the exhibit titled “Soldier Artists: Self-Expression in the Trenches.”
I watched it twice today on CSPAN -- I think you guys will appreciate it.
