Unlike guns, Leftists can actually go off by themselves. And many of them have more triggers than I’ve ever seen on a firearm. They’re also fond of bullet points and magazine restrictions (for “doubleplus ungood content”). And woe betide you if they ever get you in their sights. 🙂
Maaaaaan…with Dorian bearing down on the east coast of FL, I’m so glad the children got out of Orlando (and are safely ensconced within a ~30-minute drive from CasaK).
Hi, Fatwa -- glad the kids are out of harm’s way at least as it appears this morning. Seeing weather reports though that this is really large and changing direction storm -- hope you guys are OK in GA. We have a friend in Titusville FL and she is preparing for the worse -but not so brightly staying put.
When the kids lived in FL, they were quite close to Titusville and Cocoa; very much hope your friend remains safe.
We’ll be fine here; we’re more than 200 miles from the nearest coast and more than 1,000 feet above sea level. Probably get some clouds -- and maybe a bit of rain -- but that ought to be the worst of it. Nothing even close to the residual winds and rain we got from Irma in 2017.
Short answer: Most of the crew have families and don’t want to relocate at present. And without those guys, Jim doesn’t have much of a business.
Jim’s said if he were ten or more years younger, he’d seriously consider starting over again in Georgia despite that, but he’s 61 now and doesn’t have a compelling reason / motivation to move at present.
After he retires, that may change; he really likes a lot of things about GA.
I shared some of those Rosie videos here a few weeks ago -- the girl that pranks on scammers -- and Mrs Sven sent some links to her sister to watch. Her sister loved them and laughed and laughed as Rosie pretended to be someone else whose computer screen went dark but with a pop up window to call this number for help right away.
So today, Mrs Sven is talking to her sister who tells her that her computer is thrashed. Apparently, it picked up a “virus” and needed urgent MS attention right away and to call this number…and so she did… and she apparently let this nice tech support guy connect to her computer.

True. It’s just getting old. I tend to think more in terms of “fu*k off” then in “let’s have a discussion.”
