There’s this idea that if Trump is removed from office, either through impeachment or next year’s election, that “things” will then get back to “normal.” I tend to think that “things” will never get back to the way they supposedly were.
Going to be interesting times ahead -- I doubt I’ll live long enough to see the conclusion of this insanity, but I’m sure to feel its chaos in my remaining years.
I think we have a new political “normal” in this country; the kulaks are more “revolting” than they’ve been in a long time, which IMO is a necessary -- and long overdue -- thing.
It remains to be seen how hard the establishment of both major parties as well as the mandarin class and media are willing to push back…and against whom.
Hi, Fatwa. Trump was elected to disrupt the normal political-DC class and to push back against the progressives in the Dem party. Were he to be impeached, it could spell the end of the Dems; if convicted, it could end both major political parties -- and that would not be a bad thing at all.

Mrs. Paddy’s flight arrived 25 minutes early last night, which is always preferable to arriving late. It’s good to have her back home. She got out of Kansas City just in time. A hail storm hit shortly after she left and the airport shut down. A friend of hers who was flying into Long Beach had to spend the night.
