Well, I have gone Windows 10 Pro. I pulled my SSD with Win 7 and kept it, installing a new drive for the Windows 10 in case I ran into a problem. Installing it was not hard but I have some hours into installing my programs and getting it set up closer to Windows 7. I had let them “upgrade” my older computer from Win 7 when they were free, so I had an idea what to do. So far I see only a few improvements, and mostly it is a down grade, but it is livable. So much better than Vista (spit) or Win 8.1.
Win 10 was an improvement overall, I started with win 7 on my mondo gaming rig, and upgraded to 10 because it was a free upgrade because (I think) of when I bought win 7 (late in the cycle) I’ve mostly been liking it.
To kind friends and absent companions.
