That image of cooked chicken must have tasted a bit like many corporate pizzas.
[Insert “tastes like glossy, printed chicken!” joke here]
A couple of months back, a new Dominos franchise opened very close to CasaK and had a Grand Opening Special. Against my better judgement, I ordered a pie from them as a token show of support for a new “local business”. (Hadn’t had a Doinos pizza in well over twenty years.)
To call it mediocre would be to ennoble it; I really don’t know how they stay in business. The staff was very friendly, but I won’t be going back. (There’s a three-store local chain which has much better pizza for less money; I’ll continue to make my rare purchases from them.)
If it’s good enough for the French, then it ought to be good enough American women!
It might be easier to sell the idea to American women if you slapped a “Chanel” or other French designer label on them. “Our newly remodeled Ladies’ Room features Givenchy toilets!!1!”
From a quick skim of Iowa-related news, it appears last night was was a caucus-fark for the Dems. “Pronouns Over Policy” may not be their winningest tactic evar…but what do I know??
Good morning, gentle Lady. I shared this with Elena and she laughed. She was shouting at the TV this morning as she watched the news about this. She was laughing as she said they were just openly cheating. It is fun to see her following politics so much. The Spanish channels generally hate Trump so she tunes in each day to laugh at them.
Fatwa, you don’t mean liberals would fall for labels like Staycations or Funemployment do you?
As to Dominos, more for us! We used to get Round Table in California and these don’t really compare but we have gotten used to them. Had it weekend before last.
The “coincidence” of the suppressed poll from the Iowa Register(?) and then the “malfunction” sure looks like they want to control the process again and don’t think they need to be subtle at all.
I used to work for Domino’s Pizza years ago. I haven’t bought a pizza from them since I found out about their support of gun control. They also don’t allow their drivers to defend themselves. So…. F^#& ’em.

==============================
This elicited an actual small LOL from me:
CNN in 3, 2, 1…”Iowa was beta testing for November brought to you courtesy of Trump and Putin.”
Good morning, Fatwa -- no rain in sight but plenty of strong cold wind. Wind damage to roofs ought to be good for business.
BTW, have the Republicans “pounced” on Iowa’s Dem’s inability to count votes?
Good morning, Gentle Wheelies. I hear President Trump won the Democratic caucuses last night although they are unable to determine who came in second.

G’day, Sven, Harper and Mac!
*Snerk*
I agree with Elena; it does look like the Dems openly cheated in IA.
I wonder if whoever actually rules the DNC have already “picked” their candidate? (If so, I have no good guesses as to who that might be.)
I suspect the Dem convention -- and the run-up to it -- is going to be entertaining as hell.
Good morning, gentle Gerbils.

Hard to tell if they want Biden or Bloomberg, but they clearly don’t care what their constituents want. “We will tell you what to think, Comrade.”
It will be fun to see if Sanders bends over and says “Thank you sir may I have another” again when they game it.
Happy Rigged-Primary Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa. Sven, Harper, and Mac!
I hear Iowa beta tested their voting app yesterday.
So… is there a result yet for Iowa?
Other than Harper’s point, I mean…
Not that I’ve heard of. Probably tomorrow at the earliest.

I wonder if the same IT experts that built Helathcare.gov also built that app for the Iowa caucuses?
Good speech from POTUS. Here’s hoping he’ll get to do another one next February.
Glad to hear it, Sven. I’ll catch the synopsis tomorrow.
