Cats are indeed strange. Unfathomable, especially compared to dogs. But they keep showing up here and we keep taking them in.

Happy another-end-of-the-world day, GN! In today’s episode, TrumpHitler will nominate a religious fanatic to the Supreme Court.

Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation! Now with even moar happy kittehs!
Good morning, Sven!

Gov. Noisome has signed a law requiring plastic beverage containers to include an ever-increasing amount of recycled plastic. As this will affect manufacturers nationwide, I wonder if a lawsuit will be filed on the basis of interfering with interstate commerce? If not, it will have the effect of creating a market for recycled products that currently doesn’t exist and will certainly result in an increase in prices. Contrary to popular belief, recycled plastic is not less expensive than new.

Good morning, Paddy -- once again I’m astounded to find that all of CA’s other problems have been solved, leaving time for Newsom to focus on saving the planet and beefing up his creds for his 2024 POTUS run.

If he really wants to reduce petroleum use and pollution, maybe he could cut back on hair gel.

Happy Happy Kitteh Caturday, GN!

Hi, Sven, Paddy and ThreadLad Mac!

Glad to have a couple o’ days off. While this job isn’t as stressful as the last one, it’s still up there. Tough logistics and many clueless PITA homeowners.

OTOH, we’re -- thus far -- winning the PR battle and production this week was about what Jim and I reasonably anticipated. Grateful for my wonderful cow-workers.

If he really wants to reduce petroleum use and pollution, maybe he could cut back on hair gel.

Har! He could also have himself ferried around in one o’ them Smart Cars. 👿

Wish more supporters of recycling were would educate themselves about the real-world practicalities of the whole stupid business. Talk about “science deniers”. (A profoundly stupid phrase which makes me want to punch the people who utter it.)

Been mostly out-of-touch re news aside from what I hear from SackO’SugarK and during my commutes. Probably just as well.

Glad I’ll be safely back in Happy Larryville a few weeks prior to the election.

I heard that Pres. Trump announced Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee for SCOTUS. I’m sure the Left has their attacks on her faith and family already written.

In other news, Biden’s campaign called a lid on all events at 9:26 this morning. Sundowner Joe must not be having a good day.

I watched the announcement and thought Trump did a good job, while Barrett did better. Humble, gracious, and poised.

The attacks have already started. Particularly nasty are the ones regarding her two adopted Haitian children. Insinuations that the Barrett’s “stole” the children from Haiti and calls for investigations into the adoption. I thought the left couldn’t sink lower than they did with Kavanaugh, but I guess we’ll see over the next few weeks that they have no bottom.

Watching her and her family -- they seem to me to be the essence of black lives mattering.

They must feel that it’s better for black children to live in hellish, abject poverty than to be adopted by a white family.

I wonder if Colin Kaepernick wishes he hadn’t been adopted by rich whites?
