Happy “you got that right!” Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!

Tonight is the big night! Will Slow-Joe’s handlers be able to shoot him up with enough drugs to withstand 90 minutes on stage, or will he melt down in a pathetic display designed to garner sympathy? Or will they choose Door #3 and cancel at the last moment?

Hi, Paddy.

I think Joe will have a good showing tonight and the media will respond with hurrahs in public and sighs of relief in private. And then Joe will crash again during whatever public appearances he may do before the election. If his dementia like behavior hadn’t been apparent during the primaries, I would have bet that he was rope a doping Trump.

Saw the Project Veritas work on Omar and Minnesota. Sadly, no one in local govt will care.

Ugh. It’s hot out -- 103 now here. Hope Fatwa and crew are staying hydrated.

Yesterday, Mrs Sven left her Jeep’s lights on and drained the battery. When I popped the hood to charge it, I found a large rat nest built on top of the battery. It was a good 6 inches in diameter made of cast off fluff and plant material. Lot of droppings all over the engine block and surrounding areas. Gross, but it’s not like she doesn’t drive the thing at least a few times a week. No wire damage anyhow.

Popped my truck’s hood and took a look. No nesting materials but some droppings. The last time I looked under the hood was maybe two weeks ago to check the oil.

Not happy about the heat, either, although we’re only at 96°F -- tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day this week. Not looking forward to it.

Rats -- no thanks. Glad there wasn’t any wire damage.

Can’t help but chuckle -- NFL teams getting hit by Covid with likely impacts to the schedule and/or season. Playing in a bubble with minimal to no outside contact and no travel worked for the NBA and NHL. For the NFL, traveling and letting your players be on their own after practice, well, who couldn’t see that some would get infected?

Especially given their social habits.

Almost time for the debates. Should be amusing. I hope Trump mops the floor with Biden, but I’m not too hopeful about that happening.

I’m going to watch as much as I can.

In his first sentence, Joe called Chris Wallace “Mr. President”.

Biden has already told the President twice to be quiet.

Now he told the President to “shut up”.

OMG -- Chris Wallace is asking if Trump paid $750 in taxes for each of two years. Why is that even appropriate?

As expected, Trump is debating both Biden and the moderator.

Joe just called for moar funding for police. How will the Left spin that?

Now we’re into Climate Change. Can we get any more Left?

Moar interruptions from the moderator.

It’s still going, but Trump blew it. Tonight might just have cost him the election. I’ll also bet that Biden will drop out of the next two debates based on Trump’s behavior tonight, so there’s no do over.

And the really sad thing is that if he had stuck to the facts, he would have been just fine.

On the plus side, if the left has taught me anything the last 4 years it’s that you don’t have to accept the results of an election.

Chris Wallace did a poor job, but i don’t know if anyone could have done better. His questions though all seemed aimed at Trump’s shortcomings as opposed to Biden’s. On the other hand, Trump had answers that he could have spoke, but didn’t. Like he didn’t directly challenge Biden’s “very fine people on both sides” lie.

This is on Trump -- he could have stuck to the facts instead of trying to brawl his way out of this.
