Anyway Big Route last night, and this afternoon, we get our new fridge delivered. It’s been a long time coming, but it finally is ready. Hopefully it will be the Perfect side by side with an ice maker.
It’ll be a lot of work switching the food out. Hope we can get it all done. Swithching the food out will be a logistic nightmare, but wish us luck.
What Harper said on Wednesday’s M.O…minus teh potentially ghey bits (NTTAWWT). 🙂
More seriously: You, Elena and your steadfastness are much appreciated here in Happy Larryville; Brenda and I hope all goes smoothly on Monday (and that you two can relax at least a bit over the weekend).

Maaaaaan…Goofy Uncle Choo-Choo sure didn’t waste any time going going from President Elect* to full retard. (I reckon he doesn’t have much time to waste, but still…)
Hooray…America has at long last reached Peak Mencken:
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.” H.L. Mencken

Some wrandom wrongness to punctuate this historic week:
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8 (and Harper!), and Fatwa!
It’s a beautiful day in the People’s Paradise of California and we may have rain off and on for the next week.
dv8 (and Harper) -- good luck on your fridge replacement. The last time we replaced ours was when we had the kitchen remodeled. We moved the old refrigerator into the garage during the remodel and transfer was fairly easy.
Mac -- you and Elena are a blessing and I’m proud to know you.
Fatwa -- thanks to our new Overlord President, we now know that it is acceptable to violate EO’s if you are celebrating an event, or have more important matters to contend with.
Good afternoon, GN -- same weather forecast here as near Paddy. Apparently, SoCal Edison can deliver electricity when it’s raining as long as there’s no substantial wind, so no threatened outages looming.
My cow-worker reports that her neighbor’s electrical pole was replaced and power restored before the rain. Lucky thing, as Edison said they couldn’t send out a crew in the rain. Hmm, I wonder how they do it in other states, where rain and snow are common occurrences?
Next Friday, they are shutting down our entire street, turning off the power, and replacing all the poles. They say the can do it one day -- I have some doubts about that.
Morning Gerbils!
Hey Mac, Plaguie left you a comment on wednesday’s midnight oil.

She was so stealthy, you all may have missed it.

Yes, but they didn’t say anything about replacing the lines.
The devil is in the details.
