Teh Squeaky Wheel
Topped-Off Kitteh Sunday greetin’s, GN!
Read last night that the Democrats’ good friends at the CCP (which will soon be supplying components for our electrical grid again) are already sabre-rattling re Taiwan; FFS.
Also see that several states are starting to reopen their restaurants with limited seating; what’s changed over the past week? Must be due to Uncle Choo-Choo’s brilliant COVID plan…
Happy Sunday, GN -- hope, Mac, you are resting up for tomorrow and not worrying too much.
Sad new -- just learned that a voice from my youth, deejay Jimmy Rabbitt on FM-KMET passed away last month. He was a good one -- also had a country-western band that used to play The Palomino in North Hollywood on occasion.
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- I’m sure buying critical infrastructure components from a country that wants to see our collapse will work out well.
Mac -- I echo what Sven said. You are in our prayers.
Sven -- The Rabbit was a part of that great era of FM radio that fought back against corporatism.
Well, I’m almost done installing the shiplap on the wall the fireplace sits on. I know I could finish it tonight, but I need to add an extension to an electrical outlet and I’d rather not work with electrical stuff when I’m tired. I also have to make cuts in two pieces for the outlet, and I don’t want to mess those up because I’m tired and not thinking straight. I’ll post some pictures when I’m done.
Good job, Paddy -- looking forward to seeing the pics. I’m beat myself -- not sleeping well. Got some household work down, grocery shopping, and then back the user guide from hell.
Prayers, Mac, and for the rest of you buggers too. Poof.
