thank you, sven. i am doing well. the surgeon went in through the right wrist so i am not supposed to use the right hand for anything for two days and then very restricted. it is better than if he had to go in through the leg. last time being on my back for 12 hours crippled me for two weeks, i was still using a walker a week after getting out. this is better. results were good, he did not need to add any stents.
it is strange to have them go into your heart and be home by noon. last time i came to during the procedure and felt things moving around inside my chest. this time nothing. maybe because no stents. i am doing well and elena is riding herd on me.
thanks to everyone.

Happy (checks calendar) Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Sven, and Mac!
Mac -- so glad to hear that you are doing well, and that the procedure went better than the last time. I’m also glad that Little Mouse is able to ride herd on you -- we all know what trouble you’re capable of getting into!
Fatwa -- * Joe’s feats are even more impressive when you consider his recent statement that there is nothing he can do to change the progression of the virus.
Sven -- for most of California it means we’re back in the Purple Tier -- the most restrictive tier. Restaurants and bars that serve food can open for outdoor dining. Hair and nail salons can also open. The SoCal region is still at 0% available ICU beds, but science. or something.
Hope she doesn’t have to use the cattle prod. 😉

Maaaaaan…what a JimCo day. i don’t know why people wait until the last damned minute to report leaks and/or approve their repair. Sheesh! What part of “there’s more than 2″ of rain in the forecast over the next few days” do they not understand?
It’s magical thinking -- once they report the leak/approve the repair, they are magically protected against further water intrusion. If any water does get in, then it’s obviously JimCo’s fault.
Happy PhuD Kittehs Tuesday, Wheelizens!
Odd that, since we have Goofy Uncle Choo-Choo installed as a
blockheadfigurehead, COVID has ceased being a virulent, existential threat to humanity.Who knew that a doddering, toothy kiddy-fondler would save us from Chinese Lung AIDS? We sure are lucky he won the election!!1!
My misanthropy has reached previously unimaginable levels.
HI, Fatwa. Good morning, GN. How are you doing today, Mac?
California has apparently done something related to Covid restrictions, but exactly what they did, why, or what it means is unclear.
Something worth a listen.

Yeah, ICU Capacity -- the big baseline metric until it wasn’t.
They don’t write them or sing them like this anymore.
I remember when that song came out. You’re right, they don’t make them like that anymore.

Very glad to read that Mac’s doing well!
