Speaking of cats, have you ever spooned back onto your plate what you thought was part of your meal that had accidentally slipped off your plate and onto the kitchen counter but then realized when you put that little lost piece of dinner into your mouth that no it was actually some wet cat food that you spilled on the counter and that you neglected to clean up a half hour earlier?
One of the constant struggles I have at work is scheduling meetings with teachers and parents. I’ll send out a poll with several dates and times and invariably one of two things will happen:
A) Someone picks only one time that they are available, and someone picks every time but that time, or
2) The parent never responds.
Both cause me to scrap the poll and try again, which pushes the meeting off by at least another week.
Watched some of the Derek Chauvin trial in Minneapolis today -- so far, not impressed with his attorney, but maybe he’s saving it up or at this point there’s not a lot he can do. Today was opening statements followed by a couple of witnesses that were on scene -- one of which, I think, took the video.
I think the best Chauvin can hope for is a hung jury. More than likely he’s convicted on one of the lesser murder charges, but he probably has decent appeal prospects with the judge denying him change of venue coupled with the city settling with the Floyd family before the trial even started.
I don’t think he’s guilty, but given the state of affairs today, the facts don’t matter. I also think he has to take the stand.
Down the hill a couple of hundred yards away, there’s a guy playing saxophone -- he’s been at it for a couple of hours now. I don’t normally like horns, but this guy is OK.
Pure Trump. “In a fake interview last night on CNN, Dr. Fauci, who said he was an athlete in college but couldn’t throw a baseball even close to home plate, it was a “roller,” tried to take credit for the vaccine, when in fact he said it would take three to five years, and probably longer, to have it approved. Dr. Fauci was incapable of pressing the FDA to move it through faster. I was the one to get it done, and even the fake news media knows and reports this.”
Happy Monday, GN! -- I see that Fatwa is still off teh grid or sleeping in today.

Asking for a friend.
No, I haven’t, but my favorite flavor is salmon and rice.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

That’s a frustrating situation. Maybe a training doc or video to help parents understand this very simple concept?
And another one for the teachers.
Probably not something that CNN will spend a lot of time on and I can’t imagine why. https://www.fox19.com/video/2021/03/29/arrested-after-shooting-rampage-that-left-multiple-dead-virginia-beach/
What stories CNN chooses to run is truly incomprehensible.

Harper wanted me to send this to you guys, but we are having DNS issues again today, so I am using TOR once again:
Use This Website to Find Cities That’ll Pay You to Move There

Baltimore is offering $5k to move there. That’s a hard “no”.

Yeah, I’m getting 403 Forbidden now, unless I use TOR
The Wheel was back up for about a day and then this again.
Thread Pic reminds me of this meme template.

I can get behind these remarks.
That is accurate.
