I was unable to agree on a price for the car I had inspected on Tuesday. (It was a fairly small difference, but due to “totality of circumstances”, I stood firm.)
Salesman understood and seems like a decent guy; they’ve got some more stuff coming in over the next week and I’ll keep looking. (Glad I’m not under teh gun to find something…and also grateful to have PMK and his Merry Mechanics in my corner.)

I wonder about the mental state of the artist who dreamed up today’s thread pic.
A day off for me. An old friend invited me to his Catholic wedding ceremony today. The couple have been married for over 25 years, but they were originally married outside the Church for various reasons.
Terrible story out of Florida with that building collapse. I bet that before day’s end, the MSM will find some way to blame this on DeSantis -- likely along the lines of him more worried about outlawing CRT than the safety of his citizens.

Teh Younger and I searched for cars Tuesday afternoon/evening, and found a couple of deals on the Kelly Blue Book site that were rated as excellent prices. He test drove one yesterday, agreed to a price, and put a deposit on it. He has the money in his bank account to pay for it, but he doesn’t have a checkbook and his credit union is in Calif., not Florida. It looks like he’s going to have to purchase a boatload of money orders to get this done.
