Lawbaw’s FINAL DEMAND FOR PAYMENT letter was sent yesterday (and will be received today); ought to cause some consternation at the other end.
HH-A HOA been given seven days to pay JimCo’s long overdue and ignored supplementary invoice plus $1,500 in legal fees. (Which I’m nearly certain they will not do.)
Shockingly, HH-A HOA people have engaged in many things which are, in fact, actionable in CA such as breach of written contract, fraud, trade defamation, false claims against our bonding company and the Contractors Licensing Board, slander and a few others.
Franky, it just feels good to finally “punch back” after nearly a year of being pummeled.
I think this legal missive will cause both much butt-hurt and induce certain bad actors to point accusatory fingers at one another. (I anticipate it will be particularly unpleasant for the POS who’s seemingly been driving this short bus, but there’s plenty of blame to go around…’cause Jim and I are givers.)
I see the Administration’s response yesterday to carping about gas prices appears to be, “If you buy an electric car, you won’t need to worry about gas prices.”
The utter tone-deafness is a bit surreal.
Pawthetic to see an American President begging third-world shitholes to sell us oil…particularly as we were a net energy exporter not too long ago.
Sure wish we had a credible press and an actual opposition party. Or, now hear me out, maybe an actual non-mentally-challenged party.

My best guess is that HH-A will respond with an insulting “settlement offer” (’cause they seem to think Jim and I are stoopit…after all, we’re just blue collar schmucks).

i would expect the next step will be filing a Demand for Arbitration, re the unpaid invoice, legal fees, arbitration fees plus punitive / exemplary damages for other stuff.
My muting mishap was chuckling out loud after my Director said something incredibly stupid. A co-worker messaged me saying “can’t blame you for that chuckle.”
By transferring the planes to American custody rather than directly handing them over to the Ukrainians, the Polish government sidesteps the logistical challenge of getting the jets over the border.
And instead hands that challenge to the US. I’m not sure what “logistical challenge” flying the planes over the western border of Ukraine poses.
Poland’s announcement appeared to catch the Biden administration off guard.
