Stack o’ Cats Sunday greetin’s, GN!

I’ve never made a frittata; should do that next weekend (as I’m feeling too lazy today.)

Looks like we might get constitutional carry here in GA; our skank-azz goobernor already said he’ll sign a bill if it hits his desk. I think he’s nervous about getting primaried next month. (His Trump-anointed GOP challenger is -- IMO -- even worse and Abrams certainly isn’t an option in the general AFAIC.)

Why do Americans want to be ruled by increasingly odious and odiferous PsOS?

Bah!

Yay on constitutional carry!! More states doing this gets us closer to a supreme court case.

I would like to see a state go even further as to defy the ATF and make select fire legal. And RPGs, for that matter. Much as they did with weed, it gets us closer to what the founders intended.

WMDs? Some Americans in the 18th century, had their own warships, or even fleets of them. They all were capable of destroying entire cities, much like modern WMDs. It might’ve taken a few days, and only upon coastal cities, but the effect was still the same.

As far as frittatas go:

You can either make them shallow with one layer of filling like just covering the pan with some spaces in between, and then pour 2 or 3 or 4 beaten eggs over it, so that it looks like an unfolded omelet with stuff cooked into it.

Or, you can fill the pan a couple of inches thick with goodies and pour maybe 7 -- 10 eggs into it, so that it comes out more or less like a quiche with no crust. For that version you can even add cream or milk to the eggs- just not too much. A quiche can be 2 to 1 dairy to eggs custard, you wouldn’t want to go more than 1 to 1, and probably 1 to 2. If your filling has a bit of moisture in it, like spinach or greens, then you should skip the milk/cream altogether.

I usually make the latter. The former can be very good also, but you won’t have leftovers for a few days as in the latter case.

A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation! Is it DupliKitty Sunday already? How time flies!
Good morning, Fatwa!

I wish Trump would stop endorsing candidates. His track record of administration and cabinet choices shows he’s not very good at it.

A short stack of kittens with butter and maple syrup -- yummy.

Good morning, Fatwa, and Paddy. Happy Sunday, GN!

Drive-by:

Hi, Paddy and Sven!

A short stack of kittens with butter and maple syrup — yummy.

With sausage and bacon on the side.

I wish Trump would stop endorsing candidates.

Me, too. I think he likely got farked out of his second term, which sucks for a lot of reasons. (Especially my wallet; all politics being local and whatnot, my wallet’s about as “local” as it gets.)

I think Trump needs to bow the hell out of politics at this point for the good of the country. Even if the House gets flipped in November, I highly doubt he’ll be appointed Speaker. While I held my nose and voted for him in 2020, I dislike the cult of personality which he continues to enjoy.

With extremely rare exceptions, politicians ought to be treated like the vermin they are.

I was talking about this with a very conservative friend. He thinks the same thing as you, (and I) but also admitted that he would find it funny if Trump became house speaker. And of course, if Trump got the nomination in 2024, instead of DeSantis, like many people would like, he would of course vote for him, as would I.

It might not be the best thing. But… the memes!! I’ve never been so entertained as when Trump was president.

By the way, if you or anyone else misses the mean tweets, you can follow Trump on gab where there is a mirror account, or on Telegram where he still posts. I believe that is an official account. But the gab account has all the same stuff.

Truth Social… is either faltering, flailing, or… it’s delayed launch is more 4D chess. I don’t have an opinion either way. If you’re following the price of DWAC (the open secret is that it’s the Truth Social SPAC) you wouldn’t count it out just on the market price and trading volume alone.

Trump is going to do what Trump is going to do. He’s untrainable, but unlike Brandon who is physically and mentally unable to get better or learn, Trump’s personality and actions are the way he’s chosen to be all his life and it works for him.

I think his continuing support is based on one primary aspect of his personality -- he fights. Over everything. And that’s what a chunk of the country is looking for.

I really hope that he opts not to run in 2024, but only if DeSantis does. Sad;y tho, if the Republican brand holds true to form, they’ll probably go all in with Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush.

fxck…. That would be a disaster. But, I can’t see a RINO winning the nomination. I feel like the country has turned a corner, although, as always, I could be wrong.

DeSantis should start training to fix his milquetoast voice. Believe me it’s important. You can predict all presidential races since the advent of mass media based solely on voice quality and physical attractiveness.
