Happy Crocurday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
The reason most people aren’t talking about croc pox is because it doesn’t affect them. The only way to get croc pox is through having socially unacceptable contact with a pair of crocs. Now if Fauci gets wind of this, he’s going to declare that everyone is at risk and we have to start wearing masks.
Hi Sven -- it’s warm, but not too bad, about 85F. The only government action that I can think of to fix a broken culture or society would be those actions that restore freedom and liberty. If government gets out of the way, and stops propagating both laws and ideas (think schools) that lessen freedom, then the society stands a chance of regaining it.
I made penne with chicken in a pesto cream sauce this evening and it turned out really well. I substituted toasted walnuts for the usual pine nuts and used a mixture of parmesan and romano cheeses. I forgot how easy it is to make pesto. I definitely need to do this more often. I guess I need to start growing more basil.
Good morning, GN -- hope everyone’s weekend goes well. That’s all I got.

Hi, Paddy -- hot down your way?
A random thought popped into my head. No amount of government action or laws can fix a broken culture or society.

Chef Paddy! You have amazing talent, Sir.
Not really, but I do enjoy food, so I’m always trying to learn. It is always nice when something comes together, though.
