This was the first time in a long time I’ve woken to the alarm and thought, “Oh fvck, it’s Monday.” There’s a slight nuance between that and, “It’s Monday already?!?!”
The former attitude is derived from a certain chatty-Cathy on the company IM (which I HAVE to have turned on) who happens to hold a MUCH higher pay-grade than I, and Z.O.M.F.G I had no idea he was this high-maintenance.
And we’re on deadline -- I don’t have time for nattering about rain gutters, nor do I need a dissertation on why they’re important. FFS man, you DO realize I’m married to a tradesman, don’t you? I’ve picked up more about home maintenance by osmosis than this guy will ever attempt.
/end rant
*phew!*
Sorry -- this has been tap-dancing on my last nerve for a week or more.
The cows have been released from their “getting to know you” pen, and I think we’ve pretty much got them addicted to the cow crack. It’ll take a few more days before they see and hear the bucket and start heading toward the trough immediately, but they appear to be fast learners.
And thankfully, not all that intimidated by the boys. Brody got in their faces a bit last evening, and the Baldy turned around and chased him. Didn’t quite get the “Oh shit!” reaction Marty and Kobe had, but he’ll learn (and I’ll watch between the fingers over my eyes).
OK, I’m going to do my best to have a Jerrie-ific day, ‘cuz we know he will, and I will it for myself and all y’all.

“Danged feline hoodlums!”
Monday gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahs! from Happy Larryville, GN!
Moar coffee?
A last-minute reminder from Dear Leader:
Now this I love--a wonderful photoshop cuz it’s true.
A gracious good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa! Thanks for the coffee!
Now where did I put my pants?
I saw Abe Vigoda eyeing them a little while ago.
And nope, not going there either!
Good Morning EveryGerbillyBody!

Hope your week gets better; congrats on teh new moos.
Speaking of moos:
Nope. Not going there.
Carp. I lost my long comment. Must still be Monday. Fitting end to No Nap March, 30 Mondays balanced by St Pat’s Day (ironically -- a Monday)!
