Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
I misread the thread pic -- I thought it was Friday -- Monday.
Only three parents complained about the academic dishonesty event yesterday -- the mother who sent me the email I quoted from, the mother of that girl’s best friend (a parent conference is scheduled for two weeks from Thursday), and one other who didn’t contact me and wasn’t mentioned by name by the administration. The original complainer also wants to set up a parent conference but has been really slow to respond to my question regarding when she wants to meet. Admin has got my back on this, as does at least one of the counselors, so it’s all good.
I’m also delighted the administration’s backing you; wonder how long it’ll take for Complainer #1 to respond to you re the conference. (If it’s really important to her, you’d think scheduling it would be a priority…)

I can relate to teh thread pic; hee!
Mozilla’s taking it in the shorts re Mr. Eich’s, how you say, hasty departure; GOOD!
Additionally, I found the Executive Chairwoman’s statement objectionable for its liberal claptrap foolishness. In particular:
Mozilla believes both in equality and freedom of speech. Equality is necessary for meaningful speech. And you need free speech to fight for equality. Figuring out how to stand for both at the same time can be hard.
¿Que?
Our organizational culture reflects diversity and inclusiveness. We welcome contributions from everyone regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views. Mozilla supports equality for all.
I guess MLK and Malcolm X didn’t engage in “meaningful speech”.
I guess Gandhi didn’t engage in “meaningful speech”.
I guess Cesar Chavez didn’t engage in “meaningful speech”.
Fitst!

Good morning, Sven!
I didn’t see you while I was RabBiT typing!
Good news, Paddy! And glad that you have official support for your actions.
Good morning, GN -- including Sven and Paddy!

Some pigs are more equal than others.
Mr. X and I were talking about this last night.
Did Mr. Eich’s donation affect hiring at Mozilla? No.
Same as with Chik-Fil-A.
As Fatwa pointed out, the comments are chock-full of cognitive dissonance, and I’m glad their actions are backfiring.
Happy Birfday, IV of Seven, Rabbit!
And Teh Yay, Paddy! I’m glad the admins have your back.
Dagnabbit…Happy Birfday 4/7 to RabBeet!!11!!
Tarnation!

Over-educated morons.
Ditto Natan Sharansky and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

Aah…the “wolf trap”.
(Because sometimes it seemed like a better idea to gnaw your own arm off rather than awaken the person lying on it.) 😉
