Yesterday was a looooooong day for us but ’tis over and I’m finally taking a “sloth day”. 😉
Cantor rightfully got his skanky azz handed to him on a platter by VA voters yesterday; I predict that, in aggregate, the GOP will learn nothing except to redouble-down on stupid.
And at age 58, I’m starting to feel that, save for unusual circumstances, there’s no longer any point in voting. (To quote Papa Arbuckle on an entirely different matter, “That’s like asking me to express a preference between syphilis and gonnorhea.”)
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some good-looking southern Jooooo boys, but Cantor rightfully got his ass beat last night. And I’m glad. I’m sure Weepy McBoehner doesn’t know what to do with himself this morning. Even better.

Sorry I haven’t been around much, my back went fvckin’ nuclear just before Memorial Day and is only now starting to let up some. I’ve started down two different diagnostic paths, so hopefully I’ll get some answers soon. I’d like my life back, ya know? Prayers would be much appreciated.
Other than that, things are going well out here on the Central SE Texas prairie … we’ve gotten some seriously measurable rain, and both ponds are FULL. The pups are losing the eau de skunk aroma they picked up last week, so we’ve got that going for us too (the additional-additional low wire to the interior fence didn’t hurt). And the weather’s been lovely.
