If it were me, I’d be thinking about how to get someone’s name to SWMNBN.
That made me smile. In an unpleasant manner, sure; nevertheless…
For a Chief Personnel Officer to have so little clue about the realities of hiring is appalling.
But not very surprising coming from a public school official; seems as though they largely work -- and live -- in a bubble. Good wishes re wringing them for as much as possible, Paddy.
“This is not a war against Islam…there are many moderate Muslims…ISIS is not Islam…George Bush.” In 3-2-1…
Good morning, Fatwa.
The infuriating thing, and my anger is from the outside looking in, is that Paddy is going through this mess for no good reason. And now it’s coming down to, apparently, “Well, we’ve ruined your career, smeared your reputation, sucked up a year of your life in bullshit, but now we’ll give you back a quarter of what we took and let’s all move on and put this unpleasantness behind us.”
If it’s me, I’d take everything I can get from these jerks and then spend the next 6 months plotting as to how to make their lives miserable. Not very Christian, I know, but there you go.
Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning Sven and Fatwa!

I struggle between that frame of mind and Romans 12:17 “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.”
In re ISIS: I don’t know how many of y’all have seen this video clip from a Muslim peace conference in Norway. I know it is just one group, but it certainly puts the lie to the moderate vs. extremist meme.
I, too, am a fan of “punch back twice as hard” when possible with malefactors. (And find it very frustrating when there’s no practical way to accomplish that without taking non-trivial risks of incarceration.)

I don’t personally agree with that, but you need to do what’s right for you. And ultimately, there’s just no fair resolution to this screwjob.
I’d not seen that video but am not particularly surprised; my default position re Mohammedans is to assume they all support subjugation of / death to kufirs. And I suspect the next time their “co-religionists” do something unpleasant in America that, well, they’ll finally get some of the “push-back” they consistently mewl about (but never actually occurs).
I am not thrilled that within 1.5 miles of us there’s a mosque and a Bosniak community center. I’ve occasionally pondered ways to create bad blood between them. 😉
No word from the district today. I guess the CPO really was pushing to get things completed by her last board meeting. We’ll see how long things drag out from this point forward.
Good morning,
Looks like you had some favorable outcomes yesterday, Paddy. Hope it keeps moving in that direction.
Hiya, GN and Sven!
