I just watched the viral video of that poor woman getting catcalled for 10 hours while minding her own business walking down New York streets. Given all the hype, I was expecting it to be a WALK THROUGH HELL. What I didnt expect is to be educated about what a sexist misogynistic pig I truly am. I never knew that greeting a stranger with a “Good morning” or “Good evening” or “Have a nice day” is not good manners, but street harassment. Terrible behavior on my part all these years.
It’s a sign o’ teh times that the CDC / NIH / medical “complex” still can’t seem to agree on protocols re Ebola. And because I’m a “bad gerbil”, I rather hope that Kaci Hickox develops bleeding eyeballs, IYKWIMAITTYD.

Haven’t seen that video, but in addition to what you mentioned (which also makes me a serial harasser of women), I’ve read that for some reason, the editor took out nearly all the interactions with us “honkie” types and made what sound like fakey-pretend excuses for doing so.
With each passing day, I find more justification for my “lifestyle choice” as a Misanthrope-American…not that I actually needed any. 😉

Just off the phone; family friend took his own life last night. His wife had died last year and he had been struggling with cancer for the last couple of years. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.
