We’ll be off in a bit to the new ClanK Ancestral Compound and then we’ll caravan to SiL’s house (which is in the same town as teh new Compound, sixty-some miles from Larryville). The commute reminds me a bit of living in Los Angeles. 😉
OK. Enough with the hot weather, already! It’s 89 effin’ degrees out on Thanksgiving! It’s hotter here than in Death Valley! Hotter than in Phoenix! Hotter than in Saudi Arabia!
The new Ancestral Compound (which had its innards gutted) is looking very nice. Not completed yet, but good enough to get a 30-day certificate of occupancy and I think it’ll be ready in-time. (BiL -- who has a construction background -- has done a lot of work and vetted / overseen vendors; he gets a major hat tip.)
Had a nice time at SiL’s/BiL’s and the kids drove up from Orlando; was lovely to see all of them.
Alas, ClanK is more into ham than turkey, so no turkey and dressing. 🙁
Happy Thanksgiving O grabbin’!
May your day be stuffed with Butterballs and Blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving, GN!
Hai, RabBeet!

Hope you all have a wonderful day; BBL.
I feel a great ripple through the shavings.
It’s an early Rabbeet. Good morning and happy Thanksgiving, gentle Gerbils.
I’m off to go back to sleep for a bit.
Happy Thanksgiving, GN! Blessings, hugs and joy to you all!
Happy Thanksgiving, GN!
Happy Thanksgiving, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning RabBiT, Fatwa, Mac, Kate, and Sven! It’s good to see you all this fine morning!
We’ll be heading over to my MiL’s later this afternoon where a 28 pound turkey waits for me to carve it into succulent slices.

No Arab loves the desert…

But I managed to eat a lot despite that.
Hope everyone’s having a good day.
