Maaaaan…long day of roofing-related paperwork, mostly from the rain. And another tomorrow. Not much money in it, but it’s work for the crew and keeps customers happy so we get to swing at big jobs.
Apropos of nothing save its being in my bucket:
And with that, I think I need to be looking at something besides my display. Perhaps I’ll go look at my wife for a while. 😉

Are we really sure today was Monday? Everything went well today in spite of the scheduling mix up at the offsite catering gig. In fact, it was a very easy day. Bodes ill for the rest of the week, doesn’t it?
Mac: I miss you too. I especially miss our late night talks.
“I hate to tell you this via Facebook but I thought you should know -- John passed away in his sleep this past Thursday -- he’s now happily with Emily and Helen as he wished! John and Emily were both very private and I thank you for being great friends!”
Thank you for letting us know, Mac. I’ve been thinking of Backhoe lately, wondering how he was doing. He lived a hard and full life and experienced things that no man should have to. I pray he his wounds are healed and he is reunited with those he loved. He was a good man.
Good morning and happy Monday!
Soccer is a dangerous sport.
I woke up this morning with this thought in my head: Provolone is my favorite cheese.
Happy Monday; gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Hai, provolone-loving Sven!
Ditto pogo stick stunts:
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning Sven “Provolone” Bonk and Fatwa “Pogo Stick” Arbuckle!
I love the old ‘paint the bowling ball like a soccer ball’ trick.
In communist Venezuela, soccer ball kick you!
Hai, Paddy!

Sad news on Facebook from Robert Haase.

I just read that too. Rest in peace, backhoe.
This is 3 Gerbils I’ve known who have passed away now.
I hope the rest of you are in good health and not planning on leaving us any time soon!
