Sure Happy It’s Thursday here in 8ºF, not-a-typo, Siberian Larryville, GN! If we’re really lucky, we may hit 32º for a few minutes in the middle of the afternoon…where’s teh Glowball Warmening I was promised?
Also, Kittehs and raccoons sharing food…it’s teh beginning of the end; aieeeeeeeeeee!!1nowheretohide!!!
And finally, the ever-orange Weepy Boner [sic] remains Speaker; it’s a Trifecta of Doom.
Cool, Mac: what’s a Thursday without a coon stealing food?
Snorted as well, Fatwa, over your cartoon from last night. I see a great future for you if you can keep your head on your shoulders. Would make a nice tee shirt.
Glad you were amused by that drawing; alas, under GA law, wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with it in view of anyone twelve-years-old or younger would be an arrestable and prosecutable offense.
(Not that I would wear such a shirt in public even if that weren’t the case; even I think doing so would be pointlessly crossing a line re people I have no cause to offend.)
Friends -- I’d like to ask for prayers for Teh Younger. He was on call when a father threw his 5-year old daughter off a bridge into Tampa Bay. He found her and performed CPR until they could transfer her to the Coast Guard. He learned this morning that she didn’t make it.
I am so sorry, Paddy. Like Fatwa I saw a mention of it on the news this morning. What a horrible thing for him to have to deal with. I am grateful he has been given such a strong base of faith and love by his great family but no young man should have to face such memories.
Between Ace and Drudge there’s enough stoopid going on in the world to throw Hello Kitty into a fit of depression. The cowardice on the left is difficult to believe, as is the victim-blaming. The attempts to distract us from the serious issues of the day with ‘manslamming’ and free community college for all lead me to conclude that those who consider themselves our betters are not fit to live amongst civilized man.

Here’s an appropriate song for this morning. Bonus: a dancing Peter Lorre:
Good morning,
Cool, Mac: what’s a Thursday without a coon stealing food?
Snorted as well, Fatwa, over your cartoon from last night. I see a great future for you if you can keep your head on your shoulders. Would make a nice tee shirt.
Heya, Sven --

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!
That’s it. I got nuthin’.
Well…you’ve got weather that’s above freezing.
Not that I’m complaining, mind you; it’s nearly 20º in Larryville; woo hoo!
We’re havin’ a heat wave, a tropical heat wave…
A friend texted me from South Dakota -- they had a high of 1°F.
I DEMAND GUMMINT-COMPELLED REDISTRIBUTION OF HEAT!!

Paddy --
Read about that horror earlier this morning; Brenda and I are sending good thoughts to Teh Younger. (And the rest of you.)
