Good morning and cool on McDonalds for branching out!
Still have a headache altho I am fully functional…or as functional as I ever am anymore. Grumble. Think maybe it’s the weather--dry and windy again out here. Think winter has forgotten about us again.
Nice looking upgrades, Paddy. Like the rock columns.
Glad that Mrs Mac is through with PT and that her recovery is on schedule. Thoughts and prayers there.
And good luck, Fatwa, with the proposals. If you are successful, will you be doing another horah?
A Curmudgeon Horah, that would be something to see!
Especially if the clarinet player stood in the middle of the circle and got kicked every time he squeaked a note or played a ridiculously long glissando. (I acknowledge that klezmer music has some idiomatic quirks which are technically quite challenging and require mastery of the instrument…but that doesn’t mean they ought not be vigorously discouraged.) 😉
There’s an old gag that the definition of a “gentleman” is someone who knows how to play the clarinet but doesn’t.
Well I am off to work to lend my support and years of experience to an IT effort. Even though I can barely turn on my computer, I’ll be there!
Our window of operation is from 7tonite until 6 tomorrow morning. It should be fun watching IT critters in their natural habitat, surrounded by mounds of cheese doodles, Red Bull, and Mountain Dew.
We got the same weather, Paddy. Our green hills will be brown by the end of next week at this rate.
Happy Caturday, GN!

Lurve your front patio; tuckpointing not so much. 😉
Looks like McDonalds is trying a new marketing strategy to attract teh feline demographic:

Hai, Sven!
Glad your head’s doing better. As re doing a horah:
1) I have two left feet.
2) Folk dancing of any sort ain’t exactly on my bucket list.
Regards to Mrs. Sven.
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!
Only $1 for a 10 lb. bag of mice? What a deal! Are they fresh? Are they real mice, or are they like McNuggets?
Sorry about the continuation of the headache, Sven. Prayers that it doesn’t get any worse.

Och! (In Bb, of course.)
“Since aam playin’ a clarinit,
Ah guess aam nae a chiel.”
79°F with 11% humidity, 20 mph winds and gusts to 35 mph. Boy, this is some harsh winter we’re having.
Looks like we’re expecting a bit of a temperature spike towards the end of this week:
Could be worse.

Now that’s a burning orb.

Over AoS:
“Clearly it is approaching the End Times: The shape shifters are now technologically aware.”
Heh

OK, off I go!
Dedicated Sven!
There may be Thai food / pizza / burgers involved as well. 😉
(It just dawned on me that I’ve made it to age 58.75+ without ever tasting Mountain Dew.)
