Wishes for a blessed Easter us all.
I woke early & after some Easter reading began tackling the paperwork pile. Right now I’m just making the list of what we have to do. I’m taking on the thank-yous that I can from here, What I can’t do or don’t know (addresses,etc) I am going to box up & sent to a cousin in Tinytown that agreed to help. She has been a rock for me & BW. I don’t know if I refered to her as the Church Lady of Tinytown or not. She was a Godsend handling the local details & helping BW & I get through the 4 hours planning at the Funeral home.
I’m not ready to slow-type a long story-much of it painful too personal for the wheel. BW asked I not trash the family here. And, really, it is a habit that I have prayed about & need to change. Most of my gripes about them are over now that the Mother is gone.
The funeral was an explosion of love and Spirit-filled. BW & I were blessed will the phone not ringing at all yesterday. I’m hoping to call Good Neice & Nephew later today. I talked to GN midday Friday. BW is not taking calls from her sisters. Actually, she is too broken to talk to anyone, but has nothing to say to them other than “Read the will carefully.”
We are hoping to do the taking care of business part without emotion. A lot of the scales have fallen from BW’s eyes. We are not going to fill the role of parenting adults. They have grown children to look to.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to go on so long. I will hop back in when I can.
