Sad news about B.B. King’s passing; a wonderful performer who managed to innovate a lot in a fairly constrained genre.

Meaning no disrespect to Mr. King:
Didja hear the one about the dead blues singer? He didn’t get up this morning.

Ha-didn’t get up this morning.
What is it about cats in small boxes? Grace is always trying to cram herself in tiny boxes. I have a card table set up in my computer room where I do jigsaw puzzles. More times than not, I find her trying the boxes on for size. The last couple of puzzles have been in long boxes & she has taken to napping in them.
Sunday, BW & I are meeting with a lawyer/family friend of Sis. He has “volunteered” to talk BW through the probate & answer questions & maybe do a little more. BW has also contacted a realtor about selling Teh Crackhouse Mansion. No tour of the house yet, or contracts signed. Nothing can really be done on either front until we get the death certificate. Zombie Sis is still laying up in the house watching tv & doing nothing about moving out, not even packing. The new claim is that she is waiting for a lump sum check from husband #3’s retirement while spending #4’s monthly check on her regular drugs. She never would fill out the paperwork to get #3’s money & it piled up for a year. She will get the lump and then a small check monthly. She didn’t fill out the paper when #4 died, & it cost her a few thousand when she finally got around to it. A private pension has to hold that money, but the Feds don’t & she couldn’t get back payments. How much of a lazy idiot do you have to be not to fill out a paper for “free money”? Ugh and Yuck!
Hoppin’ out
Have a Jerrific day, ’cause you know he will!
TGIF from HL, GN!
Nicely ambiguous thread GIF, Mac. 😉

I saw B.B. King perform once or maybe twice; some very good music from the man.
Hi Rabbit--hope you and BW are well today.
Much rain in the SoCal area, Fatwa.
Hai, RabBeet and Sven!
RabBeet --
Glad you and BW are getting some probate advice / assistance. Hope you get the death cert soon so you can start sorting-out the estate.
As re Zombie sis…
*Rolls eyes*
Sven --
We’re hoping the rain gets some clients off their butts and provides additional opportunity.
Looks like there was pretty heavy localized rain last night in some areas; there are a couple of HOAs which I hope got walloped.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Hai, RabBiT, Fatwa, and Sven!
RaBbiT -- {{{hugs}}} -- you’ll get through this.
Sitting here, listening to the rain and the birds. It’s rather nice. I wish it wasn’t such a rarity.
Have you ever had a brick fall on your head? I don’t recommend it.
Ow! Hope you’re not concussed or in need of stitches.
I’ve had a piece of brick fall on my head; I would add that to Sir Arnold Bax’s list:
I had a hat on (but not a hard hat). No stitches, no signs of concussion (it was yesterday afternoon) -- just a small bump and a massive headache.
Glad you at least had a hat on; may your headache get better fast.
