This is the weird portion of the Botox treatment: every spasm is a sign receptors are turning off, so each day’s “area of concern” moves around. And it’s regimented -- like every eight hours it moves. Every day is better than the previous. 🙂
My good-hearted neighbors came out in the storm yesterday and took me with them to their yoga class and it was good.
We’re just now getting the way outer bands of Tropical Storm Bill, so our Hell Flood Warnings should be going off shortly. We’re prepared to be “flooded in” -- victuals, fuel for the genny… the whole-house surge protector was installed after our Zorch! experience.
The only wildcard is the fire dept. All but two of the firefighters are at the State Convention in Galveston, so Mr. X and our neighbor are on all calls. I just hope no one out here is stupid enough to try driving through 4’+ of water. Mr. X put a rope on one of the fire trucks in case someone does, though.
