Thanks again for keeping this place spinning; we’d be happy to toss a few shekels into the pot, too.
Was amused by your mention of arson; when Mom and I were dealing with all of the (seemingly endless) stuff in the house back in ’02, the subject of oil-soaked rags came up pretty frequently.
(I believe Bilge was more of a kerosene-soaked rag guy.)

Diesel soaked rags for t’e ol’ Bilgeman.
After Noon Central Daylight Time Greetings!
I finally got caught up somewhat on my sleep. Yesterday, I only made one trip over to TCM to rip down some curtain rods & load my truck with 13 trash bags, a lamp & 3 random dining chairs. I unloaded here for our Friday trash pickup. I told BW that the non bag stuff would be gone before dark. It was . For some silly reason, that amuses me. I also left a couple of end tables & a lamp on the curb at TCM.
This morning, I did errands in teh Rabbit Hutch and the outside world. We are both going over there later to start the vacumming & other stuff. BW has a painter coming to give an estimate at 5.
Hope all goes well over at TCM this afternoon; t’anks for teh update.
This is sadly funny: “I’ve had tougher negotiations over a felafel sandwich.”

After a lunch of my favorite hamburgers, I took a 20 minute nap. a nap. The painting guy wanted to meet at 3 instead of 5. of course, we rushed right over. Our plan to get the place looking a little cleaner before he got there went out the window. I left BW with the two guys & started working. As they wandered around, he kept saying, “This is a lot of work.” I kept translating it to “This is gonna cost a whole lotta shekels.” The guy had painted the exterior of TCM a few years ago, so we know that he does good work.
We worked about four hours in the house, ‘ til we just had to leave it for another day.
Thoughts and prayers, Paddy, Rabbit, and BW. Don’t try to do too much at one time guys.
Hot out again. Dramatic fire video coming in from the Cajon Pass where several cars and trucks burned up as they were caught in the brush fires there. No injuries though, so there’s a blessing.
TGIF, GN!

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Somehow I don’t think you were going to use them the way Bilge described.
Hai, Paddy!
You are correct, sir.

It’s going to be nasty fire season in SoCal.
