Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!
I took the family (and a nephew and his friend) out last night to see the new Star Wars movie. We went to the same big-screen theater that my FIL took Mrs. Paddy to 38 years ago to see the original. They went on opening day; he took the day off of work and took her out of school. It was very enjoyable.
We enjoyed it. The overall consensus was that it was a good blending of the original with the new. It didn’t hew true to the storyline that was created after the first three movies, but no egregious sins were committed. The one negative that we all agreed on was that J.J. Abrams won’t be directing any of the other films. Each new director will attempt to put his/her/its/zer stamp on the franchise, to the detriment of film continuity.
G’day, GN!
Congrats to SpaceX for yesterday’s successful launch and landing of their booster!

Cheers for your update last night; hope that today is a better one for you and BW.
“Red dot” is racist.
“Schlonged”? Oh nos.
Good morning, Fatwa, and the rest of the GN!
Hai, Sven!
That’s cultural appropriation!!!
What isn’t these days? Tarnation!!

So what did you think of the movie, Paddy?
