As such, I offer up that most elusive rarity…a guilty cat:

That is indeed a rare specimen, Fatwa. There are maybe five admittedly guilty cats in North America. I have had cats all my life and even when clearly caught, have rarely seen guilt on their furry faces.
Mornin’ Greetin’s are in new job Brenda’s dryer.
Thanks for the good wishes on BW’s retirement. Technically, she is on vacation for a week, then retires. Ha!
Cold and foggy here. Not wanting to go do the pool at TMP. We have had people look at the house everyday for the last three days (even yesterday!) but so far no offers…
My tomcat liked to make blossoms out of the toilet paper rolls. The other three cats would do it once in a while so you couldn’t be sure when you found it but he always gave himself away. If you took him in and showed him the flower and he didn’t do it then he was very interested and would stretch forward to sniff it. If he did it then he would not look at it, turning his head away and making little sad sounds. BUSTED!
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, RabBiT, Fatwa, Sven, and Mac!
I’ve got some potatoes roasting in the oven, to which I’ll add some left-over rib roast to make a hash. Add some eggs, a little cheese -- should be good.
RabBiT -- good luck on TMP. Y’all deserve a change of luck!
According to the article, he wasn’t a particularly admirable guy aside from signing the Declaration of Independence.
OTOH, his signature is so rare, it’s worth $700K-$800K.
(FYI -- The embedded Colbert video is pretty lame.)

whoa
BW just checked her email from Bob teh realtor and found a full-price offer for TMP! The only thing that might hang us up is that it is a FHA loan & must appraise at the selling price. Who knows what it will appraise for, since it seems that realtors just make up prices. So we will talk to Bob on Monday & find out more.
Maybe this is the one. I’m trying not to be too hopeful-HA!
Happy First Caturday 2016, GN!

Happy Day 2 of 2016!
Looks like El Nino has finally arrived in SoCal--a whole week of rain predicted beginning tomorrow.

My calico liked to get into the fireplace. She never acted guilty but somehow we could tell. She never seemed to figure that out.
Notice the black smudge on the left side of her snout. She did not have the face for crime.

RabBeet --
Hoping TMP gets some serious interest purty damned soon.
Sven --
I expect my phone and email will be pretty busy this week; hope the rain will be salutary in re one of the big bids we’ve got hanging out there…
Mac --
Amazing how you knew teh calico had been in the fireplace. 😉
Paddy --
Hope the hash comes out even better than you anticipate.

Here’s a brief bio of Button Gwinnett (after whom Gwinnett County is named) I stumbled across today.

Prayers for a quick and successful sale, RabBiT!
Echoing Paddy’s prayers, Rabbit.
