Happy Dry Hump Day, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!
I worked on a different A-12 at two different companies, back in the day.
At the first company, we were bidding on the Heads Up Display, but we lost the bid and the layoffs started. At the second, we were working on the windscreen and canopy, but the A-12 program was scrapped, so the layoffs started.
Hai, Cali!
I’m sure Sven would find stickers useful at Teh Bestest Place to Work, Evah! -- although they would probably have different sayings on them.
Sorry, Joe. I was going to sneak in a day or two to buy some time but it was hectic finding various Doctors we both need and I got delayed. Thanks for covering.
It is so nice when insurers supply a list of facilities that are on their network but don’t remove the ones that moved long ago so you chase wild geese as you hobble on your walker. Visited five facilities and scored on three. Guess that could be worse.
Don’t worry about it, Mac. The stress of healing comes from all the bureaucracy you have to deal with. That lessens too, after things finally settle down.
True. Having insurance is cheaper but sure complicates things. It is nice to pick a Doctor because he sounds right and he is convenient, without worrying if he is on the “network”. Most do offer good discounts for payment up front without insurance companies involved. It has been a big help.
Between the two of us we have many appointments coming up. I am doing all the driving so we need to sinc them. Some weeks coming up have appointments every day. I think I need to have a heart attack so I can get some rest…oh wait.
Speaking of dry humps, does anyone remember when SWMNBN humped that pole at the University of Oregon? Seems like there was video but I can’t find it. Good times.
Good morning, Wheelizens!
Hai, Mac! Hope you and Elena are healing well.
After yesterday’s thread, I am somewhat loathe to point out that it’s Hump Day…but WTF. (If you only knew the bits I did self-censor. No, really.)
Good morning, Fatwa.
Little bit of rain came through yesterday, but looks like a dry Hump Day.
Coffee. Need it bad.
Interesting article about how the A-12 was transported from Burbank to Area 51 for testing in the early ’60s.
Hai, Sven!
Here ya go:
Bless you, Fatwa.

The bubblehead says we might get some light showers tonight so my humpday might not be so dry!

It looks like you’ve got another week of fun, fun, fun posts from me. I said fun, right?
Apropos of the aerospace industry, here’s little ol’ me trying to sneak into JPL.

I like them stickers, Cali.
Reading Trump’s speech--like with Obama, I can’t stand to hear him talk--and all I have to say is who wrote it cuz clearly THE DONALD didnt.
Good to see everybody and I hope Mac that both you and Mrs Mac are healing up and getting back on your feet.
