If I’d checked-in here first thing this morning, I probably wouldn’t have needed coffee to wake up, Mac…yikes!
I’m pretty stunned by teh Brexit vote and am delighted at the thought of panicky EU mandarins’ soiled pantaloons this morning. πΏ
Was also glad to read that a federal judge ruled Cleveland’s “safety zone” for the RNC convention was unconstitutionally large, as were other restrictions on free speech.

Just read your latest tale of Teh Bestest Place Evar; sheesh.
Pretty cool news re:Brexit. Driving issues: immigration and anti-establishment, at least if the stunned pundits can be believed. Elites out of touch--hard to believe that happening over here in America.
Yeah, teh bestest place ever has been disappointing lately, but so it goes. Also, for some unbeknownst reason, sales are way off too. Across the board and trending downwards the last 5-6 weeks. Some panic there.
I imagine President Obama is very disappointed in the British this morning, coupled with his usual disappointment in us Americans over guns, climate change, immigration, etc., his golf game may be off this weekend.
Has anyone actually seen the guy golf? Is he any good?

Yup, difficult to fathom here in teh colonies; buwahahahaha!
I think another Brexit factor was simple stuff like EU regulations to make toasters and water kettles crappier, because Gaia. Farking around with Brit’s tea and toast was probably a bad idea.
A surprising number of humans resent having their lives micro-managed by snooty bastards in places like Brussels or D.C.
I’m guessing Il Douchey is a very sub-par golfer, as he never seems to talk about it. No “I’m probably a better golfer than Palmer, Nicklaus or Tiger” horn-tooting.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
It’s good to see the Brits didn’t fall for that “there’s no upside to leaving the EU” nonsense. Late last night I noticed gold was up almost $100 per ounce. I guess those whose profits are tied to the easy importation of cheap labor got a little scared about the UK showing you can walk away from an abusive relationship.
Today is the final day of Day Camp. It’s been a good week and drama has been a bit less than usual, which is always a good thing. The kids are having a good time, which is the entire point.
Off topic but I ran across a movie I found interesting on U-tube. It is a 2012 Russian film called White Tiger. It is not a typical war film, more of a fairy tale, but I found the characters or characterizations fascinating. I keep watching parts of it. It has excellent action with T-34/85s and the a mysterious Tiger tank. They made a mockup of a Tiger on a T-34 but it works. They used different sound effects for the 88 from the Russian 85 and it works well. This is just an interesting look at Russian character types from a Russian perspective. Here is a link to the full movie in Russian with English subtitles. It may be available in English but I prefer this. Had to share as I found this so interesting but I am a tank junkie.
We are doing well, thank you. Back to dealing with routine annoyances. I got a jury duty notice last week. Had to change a heart stress test next month. I always go in but they never want me as I have friend and family that are in law enforcement and others that were in prison. Both sides generally agree to dump me without using one of their discretionary items.
TGIF, GN!

Such ungrateful wretches; tsk.

Hi, Paddy!
Glad you’ve had a decent week at camp despite the weather. Hope the tear-down and packing go smoothly.
I heart this:

Hi, Mac!
I’ll check out that film over the weekend.
That seems like a funny thing to say at this place. π
Hope that you and Elena are doing well.
Don’t want to offend the pillars.

Cheers for your response, sir; pleased you’re both okay.
Hope reporting for jury duty doesn’t waste too much of your time.
“We’re aggrieved and outraged!!1!”
Uh oh. π
