Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Mac!
Well, today is my last day of work. I get a month off (sans pay), then start back on Aug. 1. I don’t actually have a contract, yet, but from what I hear, nobody else does, either. Part of today’s duties, in addition to finalizing all the last minute details, updating all the records, etc., will be to go to the post office and mail hard copies of records to parents, with another set mailed back to the school. Fortunately, I know enough to look for a way to export data, use mail merge, and happened to have a sheet of labels.
Hope your duties take less time than than you expect; may your P.O. line be short and the jerks clerks efficient…at least by USPS standards.
They suck around here. Suck, suck, suck, suck, SUCK! In fact, pretty much what a Hollywood screenwriter would put in an unflattering-to-the-south script…that’s the Larryville P.O. (Which I had a hard time finding the first time I went there because usps.com had the wrong address. I kid you not.)
I think my favorite parts are where he swerved at the “migrants”. I think actually flattening some of those little goons might be a deterrent.
Because violence does, indeed, solve certain problems.
It really amazes me that situation in Calais has been allowed to continue. And I wish those drivers could arm themselves, since the Frogs will not / cannot keep them safe
Googly morning, Wheelizens!
CorporateToolK just discovered her Sonicare toothbrush was looking back at her; muwahahahahaha!
Well done, Sir.
And speaking of googly eyes:
“Sea” is for “cookie”.
Cheers, Mac.
Just looked at Amazon; those eyes are amazingly inexpensive. 👿

Profane Hungarian truck driver runs the Calais migrant gauntlet; CAUTION: NSFW subtitling.
It’s stunning that the French government permits this situation to exist.
I’m wondering what might happen if we loaned the French a few hundred longshoremen for, ah, cultural exchange purposes.
Addendum(b): Heh…had no idea that particular subtitle was going to appear in the link.
That was great. He looks and sounds like my first business partner, an old Hungarian SOB. He was a real character as well.
I don’t believe I have ever heard that particular expression, and I worked with a lot of truck drivers. I even drove a truck for a while.
