Well I was wrong about the anti-gun bills in CA--yesterday I had no idea that Brown had already acted Friday morning to sign and veto. So this is what we got:
Assembly Bill 1511 requiring that the infrequent loans of a firearm be made only to family members.
Senate Bill 880, amending the definition of assault weapons to include semi-automatic rifles with magazines that can be detached with a bullet button.
Assembly Bill 1695, expanding the existing misdemeanor of making a false report to law enforcement to include that a firearm has been lost or stolen, and imposing a 10-year ban on owning a firearm for people convicted of making a false report.
Senate Bill 1235, creating a new regulatory framework for purchasing and selling ammunition.
Senate Bill 1446, Sen. Loni Hancock, D-Berkeley, banning possession of high-capacity magazines holding more than 10 rounds.
Poor thread fowl; caught in a vortex… 🙁
Happy Caturday of Independence Day Weekend, GN!
Sort of ironic that we were once capable of throwing off the world’s largest empire only to be enslaved by our own government.
Good morning,

Hai, Sven!
Thanks for the update.
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Nope, no one is coming to take your weapons. I’ve heard it from too many people for it not to be true.
I read on the internet, so it must be true.
Huuuuge anniversary tomorrow, boys.
Well, now that I think about it, not too huge.
I hear that all the time.
Elie Wiesel has passed away. Mrs. Paddy, Teh Younger, and I had the opportunity to hear him speak a few month ago at Teh Younger’s college.
