“Maaaaaan…that thread kitteh’s is gonna get so totally wasted, dude!” (Perhaps that vehicle is a diesel running recycled deep-fryer oil which smells like fish and chips.)

Presidential shingles definitely provide a nice “rustic” look, in addition to being quite durable. The radiant barrier OSB and better ventilation ought to noticeably reduce the load on your AC and save you a couple of bucks on power during warm weather.
Also glad you’re getting those old shakes (aka “tinder”) off your home. 👿
Good morning, Fatwa. And hi (waving furiously) GN!
New roof-good deal, Paddy. We need to begin looking at ours soon. Or begin to think about looking at ours soon.
On my good news front, my one friend that had been out of work for almost a year landed a good paying job and starts next week; my other buddy just had his last radiation treatment; and mu cousin with liver cancer got her chemo done, so she’s moving in the right direction. And the Raiders looked good last week against Arizona.
Jack Tatum is still hanging around. He’s a good kitty, but I think not the brightest.
I’m surprised that the Milwaukee riots and police shooting just ain’t getting the media attention that previous similar events have. Gee, I wonder why that it is?
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- that pic was totally wrong. Well played, sir.
Sven -- that is some good news. Let’s hope it all continues moving in the right direction.
A good friend of mine in Utah lost his job about 7 or 8 years ago when his company purged all the older workers. Yeah, it was a case of age discrimination, but good luck proving it. Anyway, after being out of work for about a year, he got a job in South Dakota. He moved out, leaving his family in Utah until he checked out the situation. Well, my friend who always wanted acreage and plenty of room between himself and neighbors found out just what that can mean. The family stayed in Utah and he’s been looking for better employment ever since. It’s hard to get at our age, and getting harder each year.
I heard last night that the Bundesbank wants the retirement age in Germany raised to 69. I’m sure that’s going to go over well, especially after parliament voted to give 1.5 billion euros from the health system to immigrants.
Top o’ teh mornin’, GN.

Hai, Sven --
Glad you’re getting some good news from family and friends.
What’s going on with your roof?
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!

Hai, Paddy!
I was tickled by teh Gadsden parody; I’ve got a few more in my Photobucket.
That sucks about your friend in SD; too bad our economy isn’t more robust.
Because it’s the anniversary of Elvis’ death:
“Elvis took ’em all for you and me.”
Q: What’s the difference between a gun and a feminist?
A: A gun only has one trigger.
Heh. That reminds me of ****oris joke, but this being a family site I shall refrain.
