Just talked to Best Man, who will be honoring a commitment by attending the Drumpf rally in Akron this evening. (He really didn’t think the friend who invited him would be able to get tickets.)
He’s certainly no supporter; I’ll be curious to hear his take on the event. He’s also assured me that he’ll maintain situational awareness, particularly after the event as he knows what happened in San Jose and Minneapolis.

It is certainly turning out to be a Monday.
Last night when we got home from the Hollywood Bowl, I noticed my internet connection was excruciatingly slow. I figured I’d just re-boot the modem and wi-fi router in the morning. Well, that didn’t work. I tried a wired connection to the router, but that was no better. Finally disconnected the cable modem from the router, connected directly to the cable modem, re-set that, and got a decent connection. Reconnected the router and now everything is fine -- except I can’t log in to my work email -- my password keeps getting rejected. Got a message on skype saying that IT had completed integration of our email with our new student email system and that inputting one of our other program passwords would work. Except it didn’t. Nobody seems to be able to access our email, or our sharepoint database.
