Emory looking to establish regular POC-only social events
Emory University’s Campus Life Department will soon host an event that it hopes will develop into a regular social hour, but invitations will only be extended to students and staff “of color.”
DeLa Sweeney, Emory’s interim director for Multicultural Programs, defended the concept of a POC-only gathering, saying it will offer participants the chance to explore their “shared interests and common goals.”
That sort of racist garbage really makes me want to spray the little shits with a fire hose. 👿
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
It’s becoming ever clearer that there are those people in power who want to foment racial unrest as a means to destroy society, so that they can rebuild it in their desired fashion -- and the useful idiots on the Left blindly follow their diktats.
I am sorely tempted to picket in front of DeLa Sweeney’s office.

Those who clearly are attempting to sow racial divisiveness in this country really don’t understand just how badly that might go if they’re successful. Given my upbringing, it sickens me…and pisses me off enough to actually hurt people.
1. I’m amazed that there’s a BA for such a thing as Dance & Movement Studies. And you learn what over 4 years?
2. I often wonder how non-white people like being pigeonholed into one monolithic basket called “people of color”? It’s kind of like how the LG community morphed into LGB and then into LGBT and now it’s LGBTNQRO or whatever.
He’s got an education PhD. I looked at the program he graduated from -- you get a PhD in under 4 years, attending class three weekends per semester (the rest is online), and the dissertation process is distributed throughout the coursework. Yet another example of why I hold education degrees in such low regard.
Yet another reason that -- IMHO -- Michael Ramirez is our greatest living political cartoonist. (It’s amazing he lasted as long as he did at the L.A. Times.)

Me, too. He’s clearly got degrees in bullshit and advanced bullshit; figures he qualifies as Interim Director of the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services.

I’m confuzzled. I’m considered non-white by the nationalist subset of Trump supporters; POC would consider me white. I suppose they could all agree on pigeonholing me as a “filthy kike”. (A phrase I’ve seen a lot of the past year and a bit on social media. Lazy nationalist bigots can’t be bothered to learn other epithets like sheenie, mockie and Christ-killer.)
I’m done with the major weekend chores and I’m whupped. Back in the olden days, I never understood my father grousing about chores and how he wanted to rip everything out and pave over everything outside. Now I get it.
While it’s unfortunate that U.S. Rep. Corrinne Brown got elected in the first place, I heartily and enthusiastically approve this mockery of her via subtitles:
Caturday salutations, Wheelizens!
This sorely vexes me:

Good morning and happy Saturday, GN!
I was initially stumped, Fatwa, by “POC”. My first thought was “proof of concept”. I’m too old to have to learn another language.

Meet race-baiting shit-weasel DeLa Sweeney:
Quite a rigorous intellectual based on his education, n’est çe pas?
