Gun owners have always been afraid of federal govt lists that recorded who bought or owns guns as a prelude to confiscation in the future. And we were always mocked for that.
Today, the Left is freaking out because all of the illegals that signed up under DACA; that information is now available to Trump and he’s going to start rounding up the Dreamers and send them home.

I guess all those Dreamers and others who proudly shouted to the cameras that they were undocumented and weren’t going anywhere are wishing they hadn’t been quite so vocal. I’m sure they never thought that their side would ever lose power. And while I feel sorry for kids who were brought here illegally when they were infants or toddlers, I also feel sorry for kids whose parents are put in prison. In both cases, I blame the parents for poor choices.
Another irony. Watching CNN’s Sunday show on the media, Reliable Sources, and they lead off with a panel discussing the failure of the media during the election cycle and why people don’t trust the media to provide accurate and honest information. And one of the panel members? Dan Rather. The same Dan Rather that back in 2004 released phony memos about George Bush’s military service.
Re the Dreamers and other illegals: ultimately, I blame all the politicians who did nothing about the border -- as they promised they would -- after Reagan signed the Simpson–Mazzoli Act thirty years ago. (One of the many reasons I’ve detested both major parties for decades.)
It’s well past time to do away with all immunity for public officials from POTUS down to dogcatcher.
Don’t know what we can do about all of the illegals, but the fact remains they are criminals and ought not be allowed to get away with it.
