Mrs Sven arrived safely last night, so all is good on that front. On my end, no water at Casa Sven. Apparently, the city is aware of the problem…what that means, I don’t know.
Good news on the Mrs. Sven front. (Glad she wasn’t bound for the Midwest, given the expected cold weather.)
Bummer about the water; hopefully whatever the city cocked-up will get resolved by this afternoon / early evening. A Google search yielded that it was announced on 11/29 the city was going to start reinforcing some pipes around Cochran and Yosemite “in the next few days” which I wouldn’t think would affect you, but shit happens.
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Sven -- I’m glad Mrs. Sven arrived safely. Sorry to hear about your mandatory water conservation. “We’re aware of the problem” -- almost sounds like they are doing something about it, without committing to any action or timeline.
Ha! I have water! But being at the top of the hill, I also have a lot of air in the lines and am slowly bleeding it out so as not to destroy the pipes. Apparently they did a “fix” and are coming back in a few days to do more repairs.

Releasing gas destroys your plumbing? Maybe a change of diet?
Maybe he should talk with Jerrie’s plumber.
