A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Fatwa!
Sven --
if they win today against SD
I think the Raiders can take South Dakota.
Fatwa -- the brewery crawl was a major success. Some people joined later, some had to leave earlier, but we visited eight breweries and sampled 81 different brews.
I expect the Raiders to not hold on to the top spot in the AFC West, but rather to lose one of their remaining two games and KC to win out, which puts the Chiefs as the #2 seed and the Raiders as #5 or #6. They win their first playoff game and then lose in the next round.
Derek Carr once again did not take any snaps from under center and that’s having an impact both on the passing and the running game. Three weeks ago he was all the talk of league MVP--after his last two performances, not so much.
Still, quite a year for them. Good job, boys. And next year should be even better. Fill some of them gaps.
Good morning and happy Sunday, GN!
Big day for the Raiders: if they win today against SD, they are guaranteed a playoff spot for the first time in like forever.
Sunday greetings, Wheelizens; hai, Sven!
Hope that teh O’Furnijur lads’ brewery crawl was a good time for all. And that Sven’s Raiders win.
(“Sven’s Raiders” sounds rather Viking-like.) 😉
Heh. Thank you MR Admin! As Mrs Sven would say, “Let’s hope it isn’t premature!” Hi, Fatwa.

Cool news, Paddy. Glad the family got to enjoy it--hope it wasn’t too cold.
Huh! Premature for who, baby?
Once again: “The first place Oakland Raiders!” And back to the playoffs as either a wildcard or #2 seed. First time in 14 years.

Only two penalties this game -- quite the improvement.
