Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
When Mrs. Paddy and I were first married, our kitten claimed a small basket normally used for flower arrangements (thereby preventing its use for that purpose). As he grew, the basket failed to grow with him, but he was undeterred. He made himself fit!
On New Year’s Eve, we went to a party at a friend’s house. Their huge boy cat proceeded to jump up into my lap. I froze! Ok, WTF! It proceeded to curl up and fall asleep as I gingerly petted its head, knowing that any minute it would probably transform into a raging tiger and take a swipe at me . I was stuck for a good 45 minutes, pondering how severely punished I would get if I so much as moved. Franky, I’m not comfortable with cats, they kind of terrify me as I rarely have encountered any that weren’t pure evil. But this one was sweet and I escaped without any blood being drawn. I’m going to have to re-think my irrational fear of those little wicked beasts.
Just coming up for air for a second; except for a shower or brewing (and draining) coffee, I’ve been at the computer and/or on the phone since 6:30. Still not done; as the Morton salt container says, “when it rains, it pours”.
