When police PR videos resemble ISIS PR videos, I think we’ve got a bit of a problem. Ditto when “undercover police” are indistinguishable from “secret police”. (Just goes to show there’s some truth to the adage that “drugs make people crazy”. And that NWA wasn’t completely wrong in 1988.)
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Sven -- I hope you get to feeling better, soon. The flu this season has been hitting people pretty hard.
I do my National University course work on my work computer and receive messages at my work email. Well, since last week was the NU spring break and my next class doesn’t start until today, I didn’t turn that computer on all weekend. My Monday morning surprise was an email from the instructor of one of the multi-month courses I’m taking, reminding us all that a particular assignment was due by Sunday night (yesterday). The course calendar lists the assignment due date as 4/23.
G’day, Wheelizens…it’s Monday;
teh yaygaaaaaaaaaaaah!!1!Another fine start-of-the-work-week thread GIF, Mac; mine pales in comparison.

Hi, Fatwa. How are all the roofing jobs coming along? Wonderful to see your lovely wife here over the weekend.
F*ckin’ Monday. I came down with a cold/flu thing Thursday night, spent most of the weekend in bed, and now it’s Monday. I’m not happy.
Hai Sven!
Very sorry to read that you’re illin’; hope you get better fast.
No large jobs locked-in yet; hoping that’ll start by the end of this month. We’ll see…

Oh, and a Ziessen Pesach to all!
Thanks, Paddy!
Hope you can get your “morning surprise” sorted-out with a minimum of fuss.
Here’s a bit of satire re a Guy Fieri-inspired seder menu:
https://theawl.com/passover-at-guy-fieris-house-9dd05927bcbb
Sample item: Gefilte fish parmigiana “jammers”; heh!
Brisket Stix™ with Manischewitz-mustard “drizzlers”
I’m disappointed there’s no breaded and deep-fried bitter herb with Spicy Sad Sauce™
And Happy Passover.
