Is Trump stirring up those rabid Bernie Sanders supporters again? Do we need sensible controls on Democrats to keep us safe? Does Democrat hate speech need to be suppressed?
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Long-ish story time: Teh Younger got a paid internship for the summer that started a week after graduation. He turned down another job that didn’t offer as many hours. He shows up to work on his first scheduled day and the director tells him there’s no job for him. That was two and a half weeks ago. He finds other jobs to apply for. Monday he had a phone interview for a position at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. Yesterday morning they offered him the job. This morning he started his drive back to California, will arrive on Saturday, and starts on Monday. We’d better get his room/my office ready for his return.
How odd: a Democrat that hates Trump and Republicans shoots up a baseball diamond where Republicans are practicing, hits five of them, and then is himself killed, and CNN and MSNBC are talking about anonymous sources who told them that, yes, Trump is being investigated for obstruction of justice.
Once again, I find myself agreeing with Ace. Not that that is unusual, but he’s spot on here:
A bad rule is many times worse when it is only applied against a disfavored caste.
I would rather live under a regime in which a Bad Law was applied equally to everyone than a regime in which a Bad Law is only applied against me and my friends, family, and allies.
How will the left ever learn its “rules” are vicious if the right keeps White Knighting in order to spare them of its pain?
Pain is a teacher. And it is beyond time for an education.
OK, I put out our flag today but I almost missed another observance, National Bourbon Day. Luckily there is still time so I am having a shot of Makers Mark.
This will be blamed on Trump in 3,2,1…
And the call for a lowering of the divisive rhetoric will come soon thereafter.
The identity and politics of the shooter are known, but just like with radical Islam, the MSM seems unable to determine a motive.
Yep! Can’t figure it out.

Yes.
It’s for the children.
Of course!
Too bad our founders did not have children or they might not have saddled us with all that dangerous freedom.

Safe journey to him. What a jerk that director is.
Good for your boy, Paddy!

Priorities.

Yep. It’s time we insisted they live by their own rules.

Whew! Another catastrophe averted!
It was close!
