Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Let’s see -- the paper wasn’t delivered this morning and the painter, who has already delayed painting my ceiling by 1.5 weeks, notified me this morning that he’ll show up tomorrow, instead of today. Seems more like a Monday.
That’s a good looking cat — he looks a bit like Mac.
Including a strikingly similar wardrobe. 😉
Paddy --
Bummer about teh painter; hope your newspaper delivery person didn’t have 103 rounds shot at him/her like LAPD did to those women delivering the Times in Torrance a few years back. (No charges were filed against any of those brave, heroic, panicky, let’s-shoot-up-all-the-pickup-trucks sheepdogs. Jeebus.)
After all, the LEO’s were in fear of their lives. I’m sure anyone in a similar position would be afforded the same consideration when it came time for sentencing.
And then the department tried to buy-off the two women with a new pickup.
Galpin Ford made the offer, IIRC; guess they wanted LAPD to feel like they owed the dealership a little favor or something. I think the women got a little miffed when they were told they’d have to pay tax on the “gift”.
They can afford really nice pickups now. 👿
And no one was seriously injured.
Lucky for the women, those highly-trained, goonyunized professionals were pretty crappy shots.
Sure Happy It’s Surly Cat Thursday, Wheelizens!
That was a cringe-worthy but enjoyable bit of video; also concur with Paddy’s comment.
BBL.
Hi, Fatwa. And happy whatever day it is, GN!
That’s a good looking cat -- he looks a bit like Mac.
Thank you! I agree.

They were only little bullets.
And no one was seriously injured.
