Despite my best efforts at rodent control, some little bastard has apparently decided to up and die in the living room wall. Puts me in mind of Skynyrd: “…that smell -- the smell of death surrounds you..” Most unpleasant, but I’m out of ideas as to how to rectify.
When they’ve died up in the attic and I haven’t been able to locate the remains, I’ve saturated cotton balls with the stuff and tossed around -- that actually seems to work without an annoying overscent. Today, I’ve saturated a cotton ball, stuck it an unwanted shot glass, and put it underneath an air vent. That’s actually working.
A funny thing at work yesterday. Was talking to one of my coworkers who had just knocked down to his knees one of the department managers. This manager is one of those guys who decides that the middle of any walkway belongs to him and refuses to politely step to one side when encountering oncoming traffic. Anyhow, my coworker had had enough of it and refused to give ground. Collision and since in the real world size and bulk matter, the manager got the worst of it. Perhaps he’ll learn something from the encounter, but being management, not much hope of that.
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Sven -- sorry about your rodent issues. That smell is horrible.
Love the story about the manager!
In re DACA: the courts were about to declare DACA unconstitutional, as they had DAPA, so PDT ends it preemptively and puts it back in the lap of Congress, where it rightly belongs. The media spins it as if PDT did something horrible instead of reporting the truth that it was going to end anyway and this at least gives people six months to figure things out.
The media and the Left -- liars all. But then the Republicans aren’t much better. I do like that Trump is making this an argument not between Repubs and Dems, but rather putting it on Congress as a body. Co-equal branches and all that. Will he stick to his guns? Don’t know. I imagine he’s not even sure what he’ll do.

Glad you’ve found a solution. “Rat Sorb” -- great name!
